My appreciation for photography began after discovering my dad's collection of film images and seeing how much a photograph can preserve. That curiosity eventually turned into a degree in Communications and Studio Art from Saint Louis University and a career documenting weddings, couples, and events.

Today, my work is rooted in connection, authenticity, and making sure the experience of being photographed feels just as meaningful as the images themselves. I'm based in Chicago, but always happy to travel wherever your celebration takes you.

Love is for everyone, and so is my photography. I proudly work with couples of all identities, backgrounds, and relationship types, capturing each wedding with care, respect, and authenticity.

Outside of work, I'm the godmother to a cat named Mister Meow, collect antique rings, and have a long-standing addiction to farmers market mangos.

“Okay obviously I’m obsessed with these, you already know how I feel about you like duh. But seriously when did you even take these??? There are so many photos that I literally do not remember you being around for… sneaky sneaky! I feel like everything you come to you’re just a good vibe and I forget you're literally taking photos the entire time. Anyway I love you so much and I just can’t thank you enough. Lets get drinks soon :)”

  • The text I got from Emily,

“I have never in my entire life felt more seen. I can not believe how much these photos look like how it feels to be us. I don’t even know if that makes sense lol? All I can say is thank you, and maybe it weird but I love you! I know Trevor was so nervous to be in front of the camera too and you guys were literally besties by the end of the day so there are actually photos where he looks like a real person instead of like there is someone forcing him at gunpoint to smile for the camera. THANK YOU!!!!!!!”

  • The text I got from Josh

    THANKS LO!!!

Super grateful that we had you as a photographer! Appreciate all the suggestions and help. We really like the pictures :)

I care about your story and your Pinterest board but above it all, your experience.

The moments I photograph deserve to be remembered as they actually happened, and that only happens when you're free to be fully present. I'll guide you when you need it, step back when you don't, and create space for your day to unfold naturally. That balance looks different for every couple, and I'm always paying attention to what feels right for you.

Even when we're intentionally making portraits, the experience stays relaxed, candid, and fun. You never have to wonder what to do with your hands or feel like you're performing for the camera. My goal is for you to leave saying, "That was actually really fun," not, "I'm glad that's over."

When it comes to editing, I keep things true to life. I personally style and retouch every image with careful attention to accurate skin tones, natural color, and the feeling of the environment. My retouching is minimal, I don’t change how people look unless they ask me to. I want your photos to feel like your memories, just at their very best.

The photos are the proof, but the experience is the whole point.
